There you'll also find Páru Inkas Sushi & Grill, which offers a Japanese-Peruvian fusion of ingredients and techniques that blend the traditional with the modern, in a relaxed atmosphere. And Chez L'ami Martin, a charming and sophisticated French restaurant with a wide range of gourmet cuisine and a wine list.

São Conrado is not all about shopping. Zona Zen, for example, is a pleasant artisan bakery with croissants, light lunches, pies and specialty coffees in a space with a balcony, located at Estrada da Gávea, 636. A pleasant surprise.

There are also good options on the São Conrado waterfront, such as Qui Qui, a kiosk by the sea with contemporary cuisine and a full bar, which serves on the sand and on the promenade. The kiosk is decorated in shades of blue and green, with plants and wood that evoke tranquillity and relaxation, as well as matching the natural beauty of the area.

The Barthô kiosk is a version of the Bartholomeu restaurant in Paraty. It is run by Deborah Manfroi, a disciple of José Hugo Celidônio. It has a tasty menu of appetizers and main courses, good drinks and a charming, welcoming atmosphere. A good choice.

The neighborhood has several luxury condominiums, houses and mansions, high-end buildings with large rooms, adding value to the area. The diverse landscape, with developments, mountains, the beach and all the local facilities are great attractions for those who want to live there, which is why the area is highly sought after.

In addition, there are a variety of leisure options, such as traditional event centers, commerce, education and easy access to other parts of the city.

São Conrado Beach is less busy than other beaches in Rio. However, its waves attract surfers and its beautiful landscape attracts people who like to take advantage of the scenery to exercise.

On its shore, there is a promenade that stretches for three kilometers to the São Conrado Tunnel, where locals go for walks, runs, bicycles and rollerblades. For those who prefer to just enjoy the surrounding beauty, the area also has benches and some charming kiosks, great for evenings or weekends with the family.

In addition to the beautiful beach, the neighborhood offers several leisure options, such as the Pedra da Gávea trail, paragliding, hang gliding, good waves for surfing, the Fashion Mall shopping mall and the Gávea Golf & Country Club.

The famous Pedra da Gávea, in addition to beautifying the neighborhood, is a meeting point for adventurers who like to enjoy nature and practice extreme sports, such as hang gliding. At around 842 meters high, Pedra da Gávea is one of the highest rock formations in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. From there, you can admire spectacular views of the entire city. Experienced climbers can complete the entire climb (round trip) in around 6 hours.

If you're not experienced or don't have enough time to do the climb, take a hike up Pedra Bonita, which is just behind Pedra da Gávea. The route to the top of this rock is much shorter and much less arduous. The views from the top include a wide swathe of Rio's southern zone. The view is breathtaking.
